Do we need to buy a fingerprint/face machine to use TeamKhata?+
No. Staff punch in on their own smartphones with face and GPS. A shared office phone/tablet works for check-in too. If you already have a ZKTeco machine, its logs can be imported via CSV and used alongside.
How much does it cost? Is payroll a separate purchase?+
Starter ৳999/month (20 staff), Growth ৳1,999/month (50), Business ৳3,499/month (100) — full payroll is included in every plan, no add-ons. Annual plans give 12 months for the price of 10. Under the Founding-100 offer, the first 100 customers lock ৳1,999/month for up to 100 staff for 12 months.
Does attendance work without internet?+
Yes. TeamKhata is offline-first — check-ins are stored on the phone and auto-sync when the connection returns, with no duplicates.
How is overtime calculated?+
Per Section 108 of the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006: (Basic + dearness allowance) ÷ 208 × 2 × overtime hours. The widely-shared 1.5× formula is not the legal one.
Are staff tracked by GPS all day?+
No. Location is captured only at the moment of check-in and work visits. All-day tracking destroys trust and battery — we deliberately don't do it.
